Standing in a hospital built on the site of my Grandfather's dairy farm, waiting for a dose of messenger RNA to safeguard against this impassive, invisible threat (born amidst the all-too deliberate and visceral horror of a “wet market” 7,500 miles away), when I see a nurse I hooked-up with on New Year's Eve 7 years ago.
