Ever see a frenzied little gang of ants swarming around on an empty piece of floor or sidewalk, or in the deserted center of some dirt road out in the middle of nowhere? Just totally expressing mad interest in a random piece of real estate, doing hyper little ant double-takes and marching an urgent stream of workers back and forth from an apparently empty location to like, ant central or wherever? Ever observe this phenomenon and wonder, momentarily, if the surface of this planet might be littered with invisible donuts?
